According to a Forsa – 97% of the Germans the intensified development of renewable energies support inquiry. Accumulated requests for classification of wide solar parks led in the town councillor to the discussion around a delimitation for Freiflächenphotovoltaikparks in the city.
Already in the previous legislative period the SPD town councillor parliamentary group at that time brought the idea of a citizen solar park in the discussion. Thus one wanted on the one hand to the citizens the possibility of a financially attractive and ecologically meaningful participation to offer, on the other hand by a before specified area in the Flächennutzungsplan discussions over future locations avoid.
Legal defaults (e.g. local binding) prevented the conversion of this idea. Falling module prices and (still) attractive feeding remuneration led in the course of the yearly to an amassment from requests to the classification of wide special area surfaces.
